Jon Gredmark is an artist who was educated at Konstfack, and who mainly works in Finland and Sweden. Jon often works with public art where his unique integration between art education and artistic practice has left its mark on the community and generated a wide range of collaborations with everything from other artists, schools, organizations and institutions, to the residents who live and spend their days in the places where he has carried out his artworks and art projects.

In recent years, almost all of Jon's artistic practice has taken place in public spaces, where he has worked on everything from school tours to murals. Jon's work has taken him around (almost) all of Finland and Sweden and generated lots of encounters with different people, places, contexts and environments. In 2022 Jon was awarded the Taike ostrobothnian art prize.
